Ever Growing Entanglements (2024) combines figurative and landscape elements in a slightly abstracted stylization split into two sections. One section is the forest path, which recedes into the distance, while the right part of the composition has a human figure that seems to be connected to a vein-like structure. The right side is quite chaotic compared to the left; therefore, the painting has balanced peacefulness and chaos- the right seems to steep anxiety while the forest gives calmness and focus. These invite the viewer to see within their minds and the world to separate the anxiety and subdue it with reflection and meditation.

Reflection (2024-25) takes the viewer on a journey of memory and reflection through the ghostly figures and the surrealistic background as the trees seem to invert into the ground. These pinks and blues from the trees and the figures, along with the removal of their faces, turn the scene into a ghostly haunting scene- or perhaps, with the context of the title, it is as though we are looking into the mirror into another world in which we see our inner reflection.
The painting’s environment is misty, and when paired with the ghostly figures, it seems as though memory is fading — perhaps the memory is fading as their details fade? The dreaminess of the painting thus invites the us to start reflecting on their own memories and relationships and compare them to the reflection seen in the painting.

Sinking into One (2024) takes the theme of dreaming and its state further as it explores our subconscious and memory between humanity and nature. Looking at the painting itself looks as though we are reflecting upon ourselves within this dreamscape thus prompting us to ask existential questions. The painting is filled with cool colours and tones which gives it a ghostly atmosphere which the shadows and lights helpt to ground us in this trance or form. The figure in the work seems to be dissolving into the painting itself; its face being really the only detailed part as the body has become two dimensional.
The figure then seems to merge into the branches connected to the ground- this permeates humanity as part of the Earth in that we cannot be disconnected from it nor escape from it. It is thus an integral part of our lives.
