Cosmos (2025) is a composition of rich colours that divide into space and within this Earth. At first glance, it seems to be a beach set against the sea with an extremely clear night sky on the top left. However, the scene – on closer observation – takes a turn towards memory instead. Every layer is textured and pulses against the previous layer; they ripple as though they are continuously flowing with structure yet also spontaneity – the gold connects the Earth to the cosmos merging them into a dream or a memory.

As this represents the planet and the cosmos together; the flowing could be the constant transformation that both space and the Earth undergo as part of their lives. They are thus in an endless transformation that flows and ebbs. Furthermore, the flowing helps to guide us upwards continuously for each colour and then go back to the next layer and repeat; until we end up in the cosmos. Hence making it less of a shift in space but rather with awareness.

Luminous Wave (2025) is an extremely saturated composition of a wave within a seascape. The conversion of the sky to a extremely flat yellow colour which turns the sky into an acidic appearance while also flattening the depth that would appear had it included clouds. This version of the sky creates a visual pop which brings the viewer towards the composition due to its neon colour.
Furthermore, the wave itself is deep blue and cyan which makes it feel less like nature and more as though it’s artificial or a light source itself. Both these elements; the sky and the seascape contrast massively with one another and with the bright light against the waves – not only adding more contrast but also adding a slight artificial warmth to the composition.
